J2EE, or Java 2 Enterprise Edition, is a Java platform for developing enterprise applications, i.e. for large scale application development. J2EE
incorporates the ‘Write once Run Anywhere’ technology. Because of this cross-platform support and OS independence, J2EE is popular among businesses and
software developers.
The J2EE workshop will impart participants with the knowledge on design, development and deployment of multi-tier web-based enterprise applications.
Students will learn to use the application programming interfaces, or APIs, of J2EE, database integration and error handling mechanisms of J2EE platform.
